You will work with cross-functional teams like product, sales, and marketing to achieve pipeline and revenue objectives. If you’re a data-driven leader that enjoys building and serving as a player-coach who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Our Demand Gen team consists of paid advertising, campaigns, field/ABM, lifecycle, automation, and growth marketing. You will manage agency partners and a team of 5. Together, you are responsible for the marketing pipeline target.

What You’ll Work On

  • Developing, executing, and owning the Demand Generation Strategy aligned to revenue goals: leading the development of a comprehensive demand generation strategy that drives efficient lead generation, pipeline, and user growth
  • Collaborating with Vidyard’s sales and product teams to identify target audiences, personas, and key messages.
  • Building and managing a high-performing demand generation team, fostering collaboration across brand, product marketing, and cross-functional teams
  • Optimizing channel strategy for both PLG and Sales-led channels (web/organic traffic, paid search and social, field, events, email)
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign performance and ROI.
  • Implementing lead generation programs to capture and qualify leads through various channels. Developing effective lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Optimizing channel strategy for both PLG (organic traffic, paid search, growth) and Sales-led channels
  • Owning demand generation relationship with sales leaders, forging strong communication and service level agreements (SLAs) between marketing and sales for joint KPIs
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of demand generation efforts. Providing regular reports and insights to demonstrate campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Planning and managing the demand generation budget, allocating resources to hit efficiency and pipeline targets.
  • Forecasting and reporting, working closely with RevOps and Data teams to ensure we’re measuring every step of the funnel vs. making do with what’s in place today. Guiding the team to be data-driven in their strategies and decision making.

  • 5+ years of people management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to hold a strong presence in the marketing org and across the company

  • Proven track record of measuring and improving effectiveness of demand generation efforts at each level of the funnel (MQL, SQL, Pipeline), partnering with sales and sales development to improve them, and reporting those results as well as recommendations up to the executive level
  • Experience working within a hybrid product led and sales led business
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge of sales, digital marketing and growth marketing techniques and strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

What you need to know about the Calgary Tech Scene

Employees can spend up to one-third of their life at work, so choosing the right company is crucial, not just for the job itself but for the company culture as well. While startups often offer dynamic culture and growth opportunities, large corporations provide benefits like career development and networking, especially appealing to recent graduates. Fortunately, Calgary stands out as a hub for both, recognized as one of Startup Genome's Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems, while also playing host to a number of multinational enterprises. In Calgary, job seekers can find a wide range of opportunities.
