Magnet Forensics is looking for a dynamic Director, Marketing Communications to lead our communications and brand teams. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, the Director, Marketing Communications will be responsible for developing and overseeing our communications and brand strategies, ensuring alignment to organizational & departmental goals and objectives. The successful candidate will lead a strong team, implement best practices and ensure scalability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Direct and manage the communications, brand and design teams
  • Ensure consistency of voice and brand across all communication channels and assets
  • Build yearly & quarterly communications & brand plans that align with departmental and organizational goals and objectives
  • Build and/or adapt required communication channels and brand deliverables for new target audiences
  • Work cross functionally across both the marketing department and the organization to ensure projects and deliverables meet the needs and timelines of the functional owners / internal customers
  • Direct PR efforts and lead relationships with internal stakeholders and external PR agencies
  • Lead and vet external agency support for marketing communications team projects and deliverables; report on agency and project performance to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience as Marketing Communications Director or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience in managing communications, brand and design teams – leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
  • Experience with leading PR strategies cross functionality
  • Solid understanding of analysis and measurement best practices for brand and communications projects to ensure ongoing effectiveness and iteration
  • Solid understanding of driving engagement with organic social media channels
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Compensation and Benefits:

The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you.

 

If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).


Compensation Range:

MIN: $140,000 - MID: $175,000 - MAX: $210,000 CAD
