This role will oversee both the newly minted outbound BDR team and the AE team. You will start as frontline leader and move to second line as we build out the team.

More about the Sales Team
🧰 We sell to blue-collar SMB personas (owners of Pool Servicing companies). They are straight shooters - no fluff.

📞 BDR and AE are call-heavy roles. Response rates and conversion rates are significantly higher over phone vs email. Gotta talk the talk...literally. No spray and pray.

⏩ We run a short, transactional sales cycle—typically sub 20 days. Your ability to craft and coach great salesmanship will directly impact success.

📈 You will be joining a winning locker room - a team of sellers that are all hitting targets MoM. We are predictably partnering with 200+ customers per month (the AE team is closing at 55%+). And we're really just getting started...

🥇 You'll get to learn from an experienced executive leadership team that has successfully scaled multiple tech startups - the talent and experience level is very high at Skimmer. We've been there and done that.

💻 You're a systems geek that is funnel and data-obsessed. You love implementing new processes and AB testing out the wazoo. 

💭 You dream about how to jack up demos booked, increase ACV, reduce sales cycle time and increase close rates 

🗣️ You love coaching reps, and talking to customers. This will be a "roll up the sleeves role" no hiding behind dashboards.

🔁 You've excelled in an SMB environment as a seller and manager

🤝 You have a strong pool of reps that would follow you anywhere you go and have amazing references from previous companies (both upwards and downwards)

👍 Bonus points if you live in Austin or Toronto area (remote role though)
