Your role
  • Prepare Project specific QA Plans which meet the governing QA program, the contract requirements, and the applicable standards.
  • Review Project management/engineering documents to ensure QA requirements are adequately identified and applicable procedures are followed.
  • Participate in proposal preparation and contract review verifying that the QA requirements for proposed scope of work are adequately defined.
  • Define and document new processes when required by the contract and contribute to process improvement when process gaps in existing procedures are identified.
  • Participate in audits and self-assessments and identify conditions adverse to quality and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide to the Non-Conformance and Corrective Action processes.
  • Maintain regular reporting on quality performance.
  • Liaise effectively with groups within Candu.
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Engineering or Science with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the development and maintenance of quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of QA standards applicable to design, procurement, and construction for nuclear power plants such as: CSA N286-12; CSA N285.0, CSA N286.7, ASME Section III, Article NCA-4000/NCA 3800; ISO 9001: 2015; CSA N299 series of standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with Project technical scope.
  • Self-motivated with strong team participation skills.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and execute the assigned tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to allow unambiguous explanation of quality requirements and processes.
