We’re growing and we are looking to add an Email Marketing Manager to our fast-paced and customer-focused Marketing department.

The Growth team drives channel-led growth for Jungle Scout’s SMB and Enterprise platforms.  The Email Marketing Manager role will help us define and execute on a best-in-class email strategy, level up our operational data management, and unlock opportunities to acquire/retain our customers. This includes measuring and evaluating marketing performance, informing strategic planning, overseeing data management, and enhancing the overall marketing processes, technology, and workflows. This is a very collaborative role that works closely with the Marketing, Sales & Rev-Ops teams, being the go-to expert in demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns that deliver results.

Day in the Life of an Email Marketing Manager:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns/programs that drive lead generation, and customer retention
  • Support all marketing and sales campaigns, including list and program creation, performance monitoring, developing insights, and implementing optimizations to deliver results (email campaigns, lead nurture flows, MQL’s pipeline, and more)
  • Analyze campaign metrics to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, providing strategic insights to enhance overall email marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Rev-Ops to refine email marketing processes, technology, and data management, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement across marketing operations.

What success looks like in 6 months as an Email Marketing Manager:

  • Successfully launch and optimize email campaigns that have significantly increased lead generation and acquisition for SMB and Enterprise segments, with strong alignment and collaboration across Marketing, Sales, and Rev-Ops teams.
  • Improve key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, leading to a measurable impact on revenue and customer engagement, with data-driven strategies now at the core of our email marketing efforts.
  • Elevate all of our marketing and sales efforts, with accurate lead scoring, MQL definitions, and campaigns that target qualified (or newly identified) segments
  • Enhance and streamline email marketing processes, technology, and data management practices, resulting in more efficient workflows, better-integrated campaigns, and a noticeable uplift in overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Uncover new opportunities or insights from our data (or database) to help our teams implement strategies that will help hit our company and team-level goals

Who you are:

  • This isn’t your first rodeo! You have 4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Email Marketing role!
  • Marketing Tools Expert. Mastery in Marketo, Salesforce, Segment and Google Analytics is essential. 
  • Email Marketer. You possess a strong background in Email Marketing, showcasing your expertise in strategy, segmentation,  lead scoring, automation, workflow creation, and campaign management. 
  • Analytical, strong communicator and problem-solver. Your strength lies in your analytical prowess, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities. You adeptly dissect complex data, extract actionable insights, and drive data-driven decisions. Proficient in interpreting marketing metrics and identifying trends, you optimize strategies to meet objectives. You communicate insights clearly, collaborate cross-functionally, and innovate solutions to seize opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Eye for detail and Organized. You like to deliver your best work, making sure no detail is overlooked. You’re able to juggle multiple projects/tasks without missing a beat. 
  • Database Manager.  You have expertise in database management practices, including data hygiene, segmentation, and attribution modeling. 

Bonus Points!

    • Experience with B2B marketing, preferably at the Enterprise level
    • Experience in Segment or Power BI 
    • Experience in Amazon or is currently a Seller
    • Experience working with Sales teams or Customer success managers
    • Good understanding of digital marketing (paid, affiliate, CRO)

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone in Canada, excluding Quebec.
