The Facilities Capacity Planning team focuses on ensuring utility and infrastructure systems are prepared to meet current demand while enabling future technology development and high-volume manufacturing growth.

The Engineer, Facilities Capacity Planning ensures Facilities system capacity meets current and future fab and site demands. This role develops and maintains capacity models, forecasts risks, and drives mitigation strategies to prevent capacity constraints across technology development, high-volume manufacturing, and non-manufacturing buildings.

The Engineer, Facilities Capacity Planning ensures Facilities system capacity meets current and future fab and site demands. This role develops and maintains capacity models, forecasts risks, and drives mitigation strategies to prevent capacity constraints across technology development, high-volume manufacturing, and non-manufacturing buildings.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and integrate Facilities capacity models with manufacturing demand forecasts to support current and future operations.
- Execute Tool Utility Matrix planning for high-volume manufacturing and future technology development requirements.
- Identify capacity risks and partner with Capital Planning and system owners to initiate, scope, and support mitigation projects.
- Perform scenario analyses, risk assessments, and data quality improvement initiatives to enable accurate, risk-aware decision making.
- Communicate system capacity health, risks, and projections through dashboards, reports, and leadership presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with capacity modeling, scenario planning, and forecasting for infrastructure or utility systems.
- Strong data analytics skills, including data cleansing, validation, and advanced Excel modeling.
- Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate analytical insights.
- Ability to perform risk analysis and prioritize work using structured frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering or analytics discipline.
- Experience with Facilities systems and utilities in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with Facilities Capacity Planning System (FCPS) or similar scenario modeling software.
- Experience using Python or SQL to automate data workflows and improve data quality.
- Experience applying AI-assisted analytics to forecasting, scenario modeling, and decision support.
