What You Will Do:
Align Collaborators: Engage with key collaborators and support the alignment of internal team members with the business unit's priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate Communications: Collaborate with relevant parties and convey ongoing directions from the LP Capital Sponsor to development and implementation teams, ensuring projects align with BU priorities.
Resolve Issues: Assist in tracking and addressing identified problems to keep project timelines and budgets on track. Build knowledge of the assistance needed across the full project lifecycle.
Expedite Decisions: Assist in developing an understanding of decision efficiency to achieve the right balance between speed, quality, yield, and effort.
Prioritize Work: Help determine the relative importance of project issues and assist in managing these priorities at both the Project and Portfolio levels.
Drive Competitiveness: Use your industry knowledge to engage collaborators and support competitive initiatives. Assess options to achieve fit-for-purpose results that balance commercial, technical, and operational factors.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
Registration as an engineer-in-training or the ability to acquire EIT designation within one year after hire within Canada.
A minimum of two years of industry-related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal to internal and external audiences.
Legally able to travel within Canada and United States.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e., Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite.
Working Conditions:
Office-based position located in either Edmonton or Calgary with occasional travel to operating locations and construction sites up to 5% of the time.
