We are seeking a Software Development Manager to join our growing DevOps Team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the next generation of the Calabrio ONE suite of products, directly impacting the success of our Cloud platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers, oversee development processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of software, DevOps, test, and quality assurance engineers, ensuring a strong focus on quality, best practices, and time-to-market.
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Foster collaboration with product, support, and other business units in a high-performing Agile environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members by setting meaningful goals, providing regular performance feedback, and encouraging a growth mindset.
  • Oversee team contributions to product requirements, acceptance criteria, and business impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, partners, and customers.

  • Effective leadership of a high-performing development team that delivers scalable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Ability to attract, retain, and coach top talent in software development.
  • Smooth execution of Agile development practices, with timely and high-impact product releases.
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a software development team.
  • Proven experience building scalable cloud-hosted/-native SaaS solutions using iterative development practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, set goals, and manage team performance.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, such as escalations and customer calls.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and collaborating across business units.
  • Preference for experience with enterprise Java development and modern DevOps tools.
