We’re looking for an Events Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in Toronto. This role will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of events to drive engagement, lead generation, and conversions for the Retail NoAM region. You will be responsible for achieving business targets (MQLs, SQLs, CWs) and delivering a seamless customer experience across digital and physical events on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Develop event strategies to increase registrations, attendance, and conversions for the Retail/NoAM region
  • Identify target audiences and create tailored campaigns to engage them
  • Conduct customer insights research and apply findings to customer-centric marketing
  • Collaborate with design marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer teams to ensure seamless event execution

Event Promotion

  • Execute digital campaigns using email, social media, SEO, and other tools
  • Build partnerships with influencers, sponsors, and media to boost event visibility
  • Track and optimize campaign performance using data and analytics

Event Execution

  • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site operations
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and external partnerships to ensure seamless execution
  • Travel to North American events to support on-site delivery

Content & Brand Integration

  • Create engaging content for event promotions, websites, and social media ensuring all materials align with brand identity
  • Order and manage warehousing and distribution of  marketing and brand materials
  • Develop post-event content and communications to maintain engagement

Audience Engagement & Evaluation

  • Design interactive experiences using tools to foster engagement and participation
  • Gather feedback and analyze performance metrics to assess success and improve future events

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage event marketing budgets, ensuring that campaigns and activities are executed within financial constraints
  • Track expenses and drive contract/vendor negotiations for  pricing

Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing or project management, ideally in retail
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business; event management certifications are a plus
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and email marketing
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, event platforms)
  • Willingness to travel across North America and work flexible hours to execute events (equivalent to approximately 10-12 days/month
