We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to focus on our EverHealth products. EverHealth a technology platform that enables medical practices of all sizes to make care more informed, more personalized, more interactive, and more adaptable. Our platform has been used by thousands of physicians who in turn have provided care to millions of patients. Our products can be tailored to medical practices—small, large, or specialty—and are open to third-party innovation via APIs. Our people and the enthusiasm for healthcare is contagious. On the software development team in the EverHealth team, you will be responsible for developing new features and functionality that both maintain existing experiences as well as drive innovation to support growth for our solution and customers 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with a team of industry experts to design and develop sophisticated software 

  • Code, test and deployment of software 

  • Assist team with problem solving and debugging to ensure solid, bug free platforms 

  • Review pull requests 

  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as standup, refinement and retros 

  • Expand and maintain unit test coverage 

 

Experience and Skills: 

4-6 years working with: 

  • Python/Django - expertise required 

  • JavaScript and modern SPA frameworks (React experience preferred) 

  • OOP 

  • Rest API/GraphQL experience (Apollo) 

  • Version control systems (Github) 

  • Work Management and Documentation using Atlassian Suite  (Jira/Confluence) 

  • ORM frameworks (SqlAlchemy) 

  • Relational databases (SQL Server / T-SQL preferred), including complex stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning 

  • Caching technologies like Redis 

  • Experience designing and developing enterprise level software 

  • Multi-threaded applications 

  • Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability (New Relic/Sentry) 

 

1-2 years working with: 

  • AI/ML 

 

General understanding: 

  • ANSI HIPAA transactions, (835, 837, 270, 271, etc.) 

  • Health Information Technology (HIT) 

  • U.S. healthcare regulatory requirements such as MIPS, Meaningful Use, or ONC certification standards 

 

Where: 
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:  

EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000 USD Per Year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
