This role is engineering led. Strong technical capability in facade engineering is the key attribute we are seeking.
As a Senior Facade Engineer, you will lead the technical engineering, analysis, and review of facade systems from concept through to construction. You will take responsibility for the engineering performance, safety, and robustness of facade solutions, providing authoritative technical input to architects, contractors, and specialist suppliers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will lead and manage projects from concept to completion, with particular focus on the technical design and performance of cladding, glazing, precast, and curtain wall systems.
- You will undertake and review structural analysis and engineering calculations, considering loads, movements, fixings, tolerances, and system behavior to ensure safe, compliant, and buildable solutions.
- You will prepare and review technical drawings, details, specifications, and reports, and carry out technical reviews of specialist contractor submissions to ensure alignment with engineering intent and applicable codes and standards.
- You will attend site to undertake technical reviews of workmanship quality, specification compliance and design adherence.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
