About the DDM Fellowship Program:
The Dotdash Meredith Fellowship Program runs from June 2025 to May 2026. The program offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience working full-time in the office with some of our most popular brands. Fellows work full-time and earn $18/hr.
About the Team:
Our Birmingham, AL video production studio creates fast and creative food and recipe videos for brands like Food & Wine, Allrecipes, and EatingWell. We specialize in eye-catching, social-first videos that bring food to life. With a team of producers, food stylists, and editors, we produce engaging content that inspires audiences to cook, share, and enjoy.
Responsibilities Will include:

Shooting and appearing in social food videos using an iPhone

Researching and analyzing food trends and social media insights to inform video content

Contributing content ideas for various brands and social media platforms

Innovating and developing creative ideas for social food video programs and content

Supporting content creation, including video production, assisting production staff, and creating call sheets

Using project management tools such as Airtable to assist production workflow
About You:
Candidates for this role should have:

A degree in social media, social marketing, or video.

The ability to work independently, take initiative, and be goal-oriented and collaborative.

Experience using iPhones and social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

A passion for cooking and food!
