The Opportunity
The Field Marketing & Digital Specialist supports the execution of iON’s national field marketing programs, helping to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation within the cybersecurity industry. This role plays a key part in delivering seamless event experiences, assisting in executing partner campaigns, and maintaining strong alignment between marketing, sales, channel, and operations teams.
What You’ll Do
Event & Field Marketing Execution
- Collaborate with National Sales and Channel teams to align goals, secure engagement, and drive joint success across all field marketing events.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for regional and national events, including venue sourcing, catering, A/V setup, shipping and receiving of event materials, on-site coordination, and other duties.
- Manage event registration processes, guest lists, and post-event reporting.
- Coordinate sponsorship deliverables with vendor and channel partners, ensuring brand alignment and timely execution.
- Oversee the creation and production of event assets (signage, banners, giveaways, collateral, etc.) in collaboration with vendors.
- Support the development of post-event content such as photo recaps, social posts, and follow-up communications.
Digital & Social Support
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media posts across iON’s platforms to promote events, campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
- Support the creation of digital assets including graphics, infographics, and short-form content for web and social channels.
- Help monitor campaign and event engagement and contribute to monthly performance reports.
Sales & Partner Enablement
- Assist in creating and maintaining sales enablement materials such as brochures, glossies, and partner co-branded assets.
- Support the coordination of partner marketing campaigns and ensure accurate tracking of shared deliverables.
- Maintain marketing asset libraries and ensure consistent brand application across all materials.
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager, broader marketing team, and Sales team to ensure timely execution of all initiatives and complete business alignment.
- Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
- Manage event inventory, shipping logistics, and storage of marketing materials.
- Support other marketing projects and administrative tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
- Previous event management and/or field marketing experience with proven ability to coordinate end-to-end logistics and deliver high-quality attendee experiences for 10-300 guests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation platform), and social media management tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for event execution.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with enthusiasm for learning and growth.
