Job Description

If you are a people person with a coffee background, looking for a role to springboard you into an exciting sales career, our Field Sales Representative/Sales Territory Manager position is an opportunity to explore. In this role, you would travel between a number of our Out of Home customers (bars, restaurants, cafes, petrol stations, hotels, offices etc.) in Wellington and surrounding. This role requires regular travel across the designated region and is responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with key customers within the territory.

As a Field Sales Representative/Sales Territory Manager, you’d play a critical role in supporting our customers in a full-service style capacity. What does that mean?

In this role, you will:

  • Day-to-day account management & journey plan call cycle of a customer base spread across the designated region
  • Attending customer sites, implementing equipment checks on a variety of machines ranging from espresso machines and grinders to automatic equipment placed across a variety of segments including cafes, hotels, petrol stations, leisure and Health Care facilities
  • Get behind the machine and wow our customers with your barista skills, sharing your knowledge and passion for the perfect cup.  Completing dedicated training modules as required within call cycle commitments.
  • Drive incremental revenue and profit by identifying new opportunities and customers within your territory. This may mean you will have some overnight travel.
  • Grow customer engagement and expertise by organising and hosting training sessions
  • Monitor operating procedures to ensure compliance across our diverse customer base
  • Work transparently with clear communication, managing your time and customer call cycle

Qualifications

For this role as a Field Sales Rep/Sales Territory Manager we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Coffee industry experience and/or knowledge and barista experience - highly desirable
  • A real people person, you get along easily with new people and enjoy building relationships
  • A drive to learn and develop in sales, with an absolute passion for all things coffee and tea
  • Confident and considerate in your approach to customers and new situations
  • Previous business development experience is a bonus
  • Full clean driver’s license and the willingness to be on the road the majority of your time
  • Unrestricted work visa
