OVERVIEW:

Alberta Blue Cross® is seeking a System Analyst to join the Finance & HR Systems support team in Information Technology.

This role will assist with system administration of both Workday and Coupa, and will be responsible for system configuration, report writing, integrations, role and security group maintenance, and will help manage vendor releases and new functionality rollouts within both platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide day-to-day support for both the Workday and Coupa platforms.
  • Work with functional leads and business analysts to create functional requirements and assist with configuration activities.
  • Perform troubleshooting and investigate root cause of issues.
  • Data Conversion activities from legacy systems to Workday and/or Coupa.
  • Build, Monitor and Maintain interfaces between Workday, Coupa, and internal/external systems.
  • Create complicated custom Workday reports.
  • Set-up and maintain Workday and Coupa security groups and role assignments.
  • Maintain technical documents outlining system to system interfaces and interactions.
  • Coordinate testing efforts and maintain issue logs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance & HR Systems support team and project teams implementing new Workday and Coupa capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors, ensuring delivery and accountability based on support agreements.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science/Software Development or related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting or working with Workday and/or Coupa.
  • Solid working knowledge of all integration methodologies within Workday (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, etc).
  • Experience building and maintaining both SaaS and non-SaaS integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Reporting being able to create and maintain complex reports (Advanced, Composite, Matrix).
  • Experience with application security framework and being able to create, maintain, and simplify security configuration using all security types for Workday and/or Coupa.
  • Experience maintaining processes flows within SaaS applications (such as Workday and Coupa).
  • Solid understanding of integration design and testing concepts and integration frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data conversion concepts and impacts on business processes.
  • Experience with Workday Prism involving maintaining data tables.
  • Understanding and experience around handling of sensitive PII related information.
  • Knowledge of all phases of the system development lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on documentation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service focus, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure within deadlines.
  • Creative and resourceful approach to supporting the business and the ability to think and deliver. creative value-added solutions to business through self-initiative and ownership.
  • Working knowledge and awareness of HR and Finance related business processes would be an asset.
