Job Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a Degree / Diploma program in finance and or accounting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Eligible to work in Canada
DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(Optional) - Preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of CMI/Trans4M software
- Working knowledge of PTS accounting software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Automotive manufacturing experience
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow Mytox / Magna financial rules, regulations and procedures
- Supporting accounting staff in matching packing slips and PO's along with invoices
- Entering coded invoices into Accounting Data Base System
- Reviewing fixed asset sub-ledger and depreciation, preparing asset tags and install on assets along with physical counts
- Other administrative tasks such as organizing cheques and EFT by suppliers, filing, organizing supplier files and so on
- Participation in 5S Audits
- Involvement in continuous improvement program
- Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.
- Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
- Attend training based on Mytox's internal training matrix
- Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook
- Performs other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management
