Job Overview:


We're seeking proactive and technically skilled Forward Deployed Engineers who love to solve Customer problems using the Fireworks AI platform. This role is ideal for someone who blends technical expertise with customer soft-skills, excels in solution-driven environments, and thrives on turning complex technical challenges into streamlined customer solutions.

Responsibilities:

Customer and Technical Engagement:

  • Work on scoping the customer problems & requirements

  • Use Fireworks’ fastest and most efficient inference engine to elegantly solve problems using Compound AI

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the solution including testing, integration, deployment & productionisation

Continuous Improvement:

  • Liaise with the Engineering team to relay feedback from the field and advocate for new features or products.

  • Stay actively involved in customer engagements to understand evolving client needs and refine solutions accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a software engineering role, with a preference towards forward deployed engineering roles.

  • Strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning models, and enterprise infrastructure.

  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a dynamic team environment.
