About the Role

We are are the lookout for our second Account Executive at SELECT. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for growing and managing a large sales pipeline. As a member of the sales team, you will have a unique opportunity to define sales strategies, cultivate customer relationships, and directly impact SELECT's growth trajectory.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives

  • Take full ownership of the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities

  • Work with technical stakeholders and executives to identify opportunities to expand SELECT's revenue

  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture sales opportunities

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in FinOps & data engineering to provide customers with insightful solutions

  • Help define and execute a multi-channel outreach strategy (email, LinkedIn, phone, videos, etc.) across a large account/prospecting list

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders within accounts while tailoring SELECT’s offerings to fit each customer's specific data environment

  • Lead and contribute to team projects to refine our sales process while shaping the SELECT sales culture

  • Represent SELECT at industry events and conferences

  • Continuously refine our playbooks and share best practices to elevate the sales org

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS, ideally with experience selling to technical buyers (engineers, developers, data analysts/scientists, etc.).

  • Comfortable with Outbound: You have a demonstrated history of net-new prospecting and pipeline generation, both personally and in collaboration with Partnerships and Marketing partners

  • All-in: This is not a 9-5. We have a massive opportunity ahead of us and are looking to multiply our sales speed. We are optimizing for the best folks and are happy to compensate generously.

  • Curious/Creative: You enjoy trying new things and learning new ways of approaching challenges.

  • Process-driven: You can juggle multiple tools, campaigns, and priorities without missing a beat.

Application process

  • The process is fully remote and all communication will happen over email or via video chat. The process will involve you meeting with our co-founders (CEO & CTO) and our Founding Account Executive

  • You will be asked to prepare an outbound sales plan as if building it from scratch, outlining your approach, strategy, and rationale for your decisions.

  • We aim to screen, interview, make a decision, send and finalize an offer within 2 weeks of application.
