The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer to join our engineering team. Standing at the intersection of modern web technologies and complex scientific data, you will be responsible for building intuitive, high-performance visual interfaces that help geneticists and researchers make critical clinical decisions. You will bridge the gap between complex UI designs and robust technical implementation, ensuring our platforms remain world-class in speed, responsiveness, and data visualization.

Role Responsibilities
- UI Implementation: Build or translate UI designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of our applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with backend developers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
- Product Ownership: Take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works.
- Scientific Data Presentation: Understand how best to present the scientific data available. In practice, we use many sophisticated charts & interactive graphic components.
The Ideal Candidate (Profile)
The ideal candidate combines professional experience in designing and developing full stack web applications with a strong understanding of software development principles. You should possess an eye for detail in implementing UI designs and a genuine interest to apply your technical skills within the cutting-edge genetics industry.
What you will bring:
- Education: A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technology-related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in similar roles, with hands-on experience in designing and developing full stack web applications.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven knowledge and experience in React JS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SCSS, Git/Gitflow, and Unit Testing.
- Development Principles: A good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Languages: Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

- Growth Mindset: An interest to learn about genetics and become part of a growing new industry (prior knowledge is not required, we will provide all the training needed).
- Build Tools: Prior knowledge or experience with Webpack will be considered a plus.
