As a Functional Analyst for ERP Systems, you will analyze, implement, and optimize ERP solutions across various business domains while ensuring compliance and data integrity.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Analyze, document, and translate business requirements across functional areas (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) into effective ERP system solutions and configurations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, test, and deploy ERP enhancements, integrations, and upgrades that align with business goals.
- Conduct gap and impact analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization.
- Manage and execute end-to-end testing (UAT, regression, integration) and ensure timely issue resolution before go-live.
- Provide user training, maintain system documentation, and deliver post-implementation support to ensure adoption and continuity.
- Ensure ERP data integrity, security, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting Mergers & Acquisitions, RFP processes, and collaboration with Product Owners and Business Partners.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to monitor performance, resolve incidents, and drive continuous system improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems / Management Information Systems or bachelor’s in Software Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in Asset Management, preferably in Service Now.
- Technical and/or ERP support background within the distribution industry is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development techniques.
- Basic knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices.
- Strong analytical and business problem-solving abilities to assess complex issues and design effective ERP solutions.
- Proficiency with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or equivalent) and strong understanding of system configuration and integration.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills to contribute effectively within Agile and project-driven environments.
- Demonstrated agile-development mindset with a strong customer focus and results orientation.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
