Lead product marketing efforts for enterprise workflows at Notion, defining go-to-market strategies and driving adoption across segments by collaborating with Sales and Product teams.

About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like Pixar, Mitsubishi, Figma, Plaid, Match Group, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

We're looking for an experienced community and growth leader to build and scale Notion's global Community-led Growth motion (also known as B2C2B). Notion’s Community-led growth flywheel accelerates when our community programs & social channels turn Notion users into fans and advocates, who then drive awareness of Notion, growing our base of Notion users. Our community programs focus on Creators / Influencers, Students, and Professionals, and our events, content, campaigns & digital community spaces measurably impact awareness & engagement from each of those user segments.

This role requires deep experience in community-driven brand building. The ideal candidate is/has:

  • A seasoned marketer who excels in modern consumer/end user-focused social, influencer and community strategies
  • A hands-on builder who can inspire a team and catalyze cross-functional support while measuring impact and iterating rapidly
  • Excellent taste, ideally with a track record of fine-tuning it to the needs of several different audiences

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision
    • Define and execute a global Community-led growth strategy
    • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, product, engineering, sales and customer support and Notion’s community
    • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure program success and community health
  • Team Management
    • Build and lead a high-performing global team of both direct reports & cross-functional partners
    • Establish operational excellence in community programs execution
    • Foster cross-functional collaboration with both global and regional teams
  • Program Leadership
    • Scale our Campus Leaders program globally with focus on high-potential campuses & markets
    • Grow our creator/influencer programs into a ‘must-join’ program that becomes an engine for Notion content creation & awareness
    • Evolve and grow our Champions program for Notion’s professional power users
    • Design and implement community engagement strategies across various platforms

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • 10+ years of experience in social/community-led brand marketing
    • Proven track record scaling/supporting a global community within a rapidly-growing company
    • Experience building and managing a multi-functional organizational with many cross-functional partners/stakeholders
    • Deep & nuanced understanding of creator economy and influencer marketing
    • Clear track record of success growing brand awareness
    • Strong understanding of B2C2B motions and community-led growth
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in SaaS, consumer subscription or digital products
    • International work experience or experience managing global teams

Impact & Outcomes:

Success in this role means:

  • Building a thriving global community of Notion fans & advocates that drives organic Notion adoption
  • Scaling our reach and engagement across key social platforms, focused on our target audiences
  • Creating sustainable & efficient programs that balance programming/content, campaigns, activations and growth
  • Championing Notion’s fans and advocates within Notion and representing them internally with product, marketing, sales and customer support teams

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $242,000 - $300,000 per year.
