Your future team
At Atlassian, we're on the lookout for an experienced leader to take on the critical role of Head of Partner Solutions, GSI & Next Gen Partners. In this newly created position, you'll lead a global team dedicated to shaping and executing the Partner Solutions strategy for our largest Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Next Generation Partners. Your work will be pivotal in accelerating growth, building impactful partnerships, and driving the success of some of Atlassian's fastest-growing segments.

What you'll do

  • Lead a Global Team: To start with manage a small team of Partner Solutions Strategists/Architects, balancing leadership and hands-on engagement to recruit, activate, and engage with a diverse set of partners.
  • Create a Global Strategy: Collaborate closely with Channel Leaders, GSI and Next Gen teams, Marketing, Sales, and Solution Architects to define and implement a comprehensive strategy for growing our Partner Solutions business.
  • Drive Partner Success: Work with partners to build joint solutions and go-to-market (GTM) strategies that accelerate the adoption and impact of Atlassian's solutions across industries.
  • Conduct Capability Workshops: Lead workshops and strategic sessions with partners to build their Atlassian solution capabilities and drive successful partner practices.
  • Assess and Expand Coverage: Collaborate with Channel teams to assess partner capacity, coverage, and recruitment needs, ensuring our GSI and Next Gen partnerships scale effectively.
  • Represent Atlassian Thought Leadership: Serve as a recognized thought leader within the industry, participating in key industry events and elevating Atlassian's brand.
  • Align with Sales and Marketing: Partner with Enterprise Sales teams to educate on partner capabilities, optimize co-selling motions, and drive mutual success for both Atlassian and our partners.
  • Achieve Results: Align with the broader Partner Solutions, Channel, and Sales teams to ensure the execution of business strategies and deliver tangible results.


Your background

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Product, Consulting, and Sales, ideally within Digital Transformation or Enterprise Solutions, with deep knowledge of the Atlassian platform being a strong plus.
  • Partner Expertise: A proven track record of working effectively for/with partners, including GSIs and Next Gen Partners, and leading partner-focused strategy and execution.
  • Strategic Insight: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of how to position value, sell consultatively, and measure ROI. You understand how to drive outcomes through a strategic, partner-first mindset.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Someone who excels in matrix organizations, bridging internal teams and external partners with ease.
  • Executive Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present at the executive level and conduct technical workshops with partner and technology teams.
  • Coachable and Results-Driven: You have a growth mindset, an eagerness to learn, and a relentless drive to meet and exceed both sales and non-revenue targets.
  • Ownership Mentality: A strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to executing and delivering on goals, regardless of the challenges.


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $216,000 - $288,000
Zone B: $194,400 - $259,200
Zone C: $179,300 - $239,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
