Minimum Requirements: (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field/related experience.
  • 2+ years of relatable experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and employee relations techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • CP/PHR Certified
  • 4 years of related work experience

Skills and Abilities:

  Employee Relations Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Actively listen to employee grievances and provide timely and effective resolutions.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace complaints, conflicts, and other HR-related issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow proper documentation protocols for all employee relations matters.

Conflict Resolution:

  • Mediate conflicts between employees, teams, or between employees and management.
  • Identify underlying issues causing conflicts and work with all parties to resolve them fairly and equitably.
  • Provide guidance and support for managers in handling difficult employee situations.

 Policy Interpretation & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Interpret and explain HR policies and employment laws to employees and management.
  • Assist with the development and review of employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws.

  HR Documentation & Reporting:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a high level of flexibility and be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Ability to:
    • Maintain strict confidentiality
    • Make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and maintain high level of motivation
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations within functional areas of responsibility
    • Utilize effective written and verbal communication and interaction skills with people at all levels (both internal & external) in a multicultural, multinational environment
    • Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures and equipment within area of responsibility

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • N/A

Software:

  • Basic proficiency in Windows, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Intermediate experience with HRIS systems and Time & Attendance systems
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is preferred

Essential to Job Functions – Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:

  • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
  • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen

Work Environment – Travel, Noise, Smells, Quiet, Indoors or Outdoors, etc.

  • Requires 5% travel

  • Factory Setting with Noise
