Position Summary
As an Payroll / HRISSpecialist, your primary responsibilities will center on HRIS management and payroll processing, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant operations. You will also support additional HR functions as needed, such as recruitment, fostering company culture, managing vendor and contract relationships, and contributing to engagement initiatives alongside the HR Strategy team.
This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in HR technology and payroll, combined with a passion for creating innovative, people-first HR solutions.
Essential Position Functions

  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing
    • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
    • Provide guidance on EMEA pension schemes
  • HRIS Management and Optimization
    • Lead the management and improvement of our HRIS platforms
    • Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, data accuracy and process improvement
    • Configure HRIS modules to meet evolving business needs
    • Generate reports and analytics to inform HR strategy
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
    • Partner with hiring managers to execute effective recruitment strategies
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
    • Implement innovative sourcing techniques
    • Ensure onboarding immerses new hires in our culture
  • Culture and Engagement
    • Implement programs promoting employee engagement and well-being
    • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
    • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee inquiries


Requirements
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in progressive HR within a dynamic, global tech environment
  • Exceptional written and spoken English
  • Strong experience in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of Czech employment requirements
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
  • Advanced expertise in HRIS platforms, experience using BambooHR a plus
  • Meticulous attention to detail paired with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Skilled in managing the full recruitment cycle
  • High cultural intelligence and ability to collaborate across diverse, remote teams
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
  • Committed to ongoing learning and staying attuned to the latest HR tech and trends
