The Opportunity

It is an exciting time to join our team as we work together to empower and support leaders in our organization. Reporting to the Manager, HR Business Partnering, you’ll work among a team of Business Partners and Advisors to provide first-point-of-contact support for leaders across our Canada and US footprint. As an integral member of the business partnering team, you thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and have strong judgment to prioritize day to day needs.

What You’ll do

  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on HR policies, practices and programs, talent and performance management, corrective discipline, compensation, leadership development, and team effectiveness within assigned client group(s).
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to improve overall organizational and operational effectiveness
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve our HR advisory services, particularly areas that enhance the leader experience
  • Understand and provide coaching to leaders on the processes related to workforce management and employee lifecycle
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence in the roll-out and execution of enterprise-wide programs, practices and training
  • Facilitate and/or present information to various audiences on a regular basis
  • Proactively contribute to the ongoing creation and sustainment of HR advisory services content for leaders
  • Participate in ongoing training and learning opportunities as well as projects or initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 4 or more years of Human Resources or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in an HR Generalist, or similar business facing role
  • Experience presenting and facilitating to various levels of the organization
  • Utilizes sound judgement to effectively resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently to resolve inquiries in an effective and timely manner while managing competing priorities in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to navigate the organization
  • Problem solver with critical thinking skills including an aptitude to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity and thrive in a dynamic and complex organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish and/or French as a second language
  • Ability to travel as minimal business travel may be required
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment law
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow
