Keyera is currently seeking a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join our high performing and innovative Human Resources team. The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic role working closely with our business leaders on a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, labour relations, and people programs. This role will be based in Calgary with up to 25% travel to sites throughout Western Canada.
Responsibilities
Partnering with business leaders in their day-to-day HR related inquiries.
Building strong working relationships with leaders to drive sound decision making on employee matters.
Leading complex workplace investigations.
Providing employee relations expert guidance and support; coaching leaders through performance management options, progressive discipline processes, and terminations.
Supporting and guiding employees and leadership with policy interpretation and execution.
Managing collaborative relationships with union partners.
Drafting policies, supporting the roll-out of HR policies, and partnering with our Learning & Development team on training needs related to policies.
Partnering with our People Programs team on cyclical activities (Goal setting, Performance Reviews, Sucession planning etc).
Partnering with the business leaders and our Talent Attraction team in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies.
Drive the strategic deployment and integration of Centre of Excellence initiatives across client groups, partnering with business leaders to translate enterprise priorities into impactful, scalable solutions that enhance organizational performance and alignment.
Qualifications
Diploma, Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Commerce, or other related field.
8+ years of broad and progressive HR experience including a strong background in employee relations and labour relations.
CPHR Designation is considered an asset.
Collaborative, team-focused professional, who easily partners with various stakeholders across the organization and within Human Resources.
Creative thinker, naturally innovative and motivated by adding exceptional value to the organization.
Diversifies and strengthens our team by freely sharing their unique strengths and attributes.
Uncompromising customer service and diligence is at the core of who they are as a professional.
Commitment to holding themselves and their team members to a high and uncompromising standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
Comfortable with rolling up their sleeves and jumping in where required and doesn’t shy away from learning on the fly.
