Enersul is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Calgary. This role will have responsibility for a variety of Human Resources tasks; with the opportunity to contribute to many activities and projects. 

Overall Responsibilities:

The list below highlights the essential job responsibilities but is not exhaustive.

  • Provides direction, insight, and assistance to managers and employees on HR related matters.
  • Manages the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientation.
  • Partners with colleagues on Benefit Plan management and administration.
  • Work with managers on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide backup for payroll processing.
  • Works closely with HR Director on coordination of internal processes and programs related to Talent Management and Employee Development.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the management team on strategic HR initiatives and projects.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Knowledge of payroll practices (ADP) would be of benefit.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and MS Office Suite.
