About this Role:

We are looking for an HR Manager to join our Avidbots Team. Reporting to the CEO, this role will focus on driving strategic initiatives to support employee engagement and retention and partner across the business on Talent Mapping and Org design. This person will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support to leaders across the rapidly growing organization. 

 

How you will make a difference:

  • Partner with leaders, providing guidance and coaching 
  • Contribute to the People & Culture roadmap, driving and implementing key programs and projects 
  • Work with the business to advise and resolve employee relation issues 
  • Optimize and manage the annual performance management cycle
  • In partnership with legal counsel, focus on reducing legal risk and improve overall compliance 
  • Partner with the business on corporate programs / processes, such as compensation planning, recruitment programs, internal mobility, etc. 
  • Help to continue to grow our culture, listening to our employees and turning feedback into action planning 

 

Key Requirements and Experience

  • 2+ years experience working as an HR Manager, preferably in a high growth environment 
  • CHRL designation or equivalent
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills 
  • Solid knowledge of HR principles across North America and Employment Law 
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to think strategically 
  • Ability to be flexible and agile 

Nice To Have: 

  • Experience in a global company
  • A background in high tech, preferably in a hardware company
