Sales Consultant Dermatology - Ontario Southwest  

Responsibilities:

As a Lilly Sales Consultant within the Dermatology team, you will enhance the customer experience by identifying critical needs and delivering optimal pharmaceutical-based healthcare solutions to our customers.
You will develop deep knowledge of our healthcare system, disease state, product portfolio and therapeutic options. You will identify and develop relationships with customers such as dermatologists and other healthcare professionals. Using your Lilly network and resources, you will respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns and will identify and offer multi-channel solutions that are the most meaningful to your customers. You will analyze and interpret territory data and trends and develop and implement a detailed territory plan for your portfolio.

At Lilly Canada, we have three levels of Sales positions based on the candidate’s experience, background, and qualifications. The expected compensation is:        

  • Associate Sales Consultant : $82,500 - $121,000
  • Sales Consultant : $97,500 - $143,000
  • Sr. Sales Consultant : $106,500 - $156,200                                                       
     

This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Sales Incentive Program and a company car.

Basic Requirements:

Lilly Canada is searching for a motivated sales consultant with a passion for ongoing learning. Ideally, this candidate has experience selling immunology products with dermatologists and allied healthcare professionals. Proven success in previous roles has come from creating exceptional customer experiences, demonstrating a highly collaborative teamwork approach, a winning mindset and strong leadership. This candidate has experience that is derived from being trained with a needs-based customer interactive model and has demonstrated an ability to learn quickly. The successful candidate will demonstrate omnichannel selling capabilities, which will generate strong connections with customers via virtual and in-person interactions.

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Good understanding of the Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant role
  • Immunology (ideally dermatology) experience is an asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Hospital and/or key account sales experience
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • Proficiency with computers, Salesforce and data manipulation/analysis
  • Recent recognition of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and performance (i.e., Canadian Pinnacle, President’s Council, District Rep of the Year, or Award of Excellence)
  • Territory: Ontario Southwest - the candidate needs to be based in London Ontario
  • Permanent position
  • This role may require occasional weekend work to support medical conferences, either within your home region or at locations across Canada.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$82,500 - $156,200

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a pension plan; vacation benefits; eligibility for healthcare benefits; flexible benefits (if applicable) life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
