This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Sales function and is part of the myQ Enterprise business. myQ Enterprise is a connected IOT SaaS solution that streamlines supply chain constraints by simplifying  trailer scheduling, driver check in, and automating yard/dock assignment.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and engaging with prospective clients. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll leverage your communication skills and product knowledge to identify and qualify leads, understand customer needs, and guide them through the sales journey. This role is ideal for a proactive, goal-oriented professional who excels in building relationships and is motivated by closing deals. You will engage with inbound and outbound leads, effectively communicate the value of our software solutions, and work closely with Software Solutions Manager to secure new business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Target new prospective customers using CRM tools, social media and sales databases

  • Establish meetings with prospective customers utilizing cold outreach via phone calls, emails and other sources of customer initiation

  • Collaborate with Software Solutions Manager to develop and execute lead generation campaigns against lead lists, trade shows, and own research to develop net new opportunities

  • Qualify inbound leads to assess their needs, budget and decision-making process

  • Conduct qualification meetings with prospective customers, where you learn the customer pain points and demonstrate product knowledge

  • Complete warm hand-offs of qualified opportunities to Software Solutions Manager

  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline utilizing CRM tool for reporting and opportunity management

  • Maintain clear and detailed records of all sales activities and prospect interaction in CRM

  • Accurately report performance metrics to manager

  • Develop a strong understanding of the software product, including features, benefits, and use case

  • Develop skills necessary to conduct product demos that showcase software’s value and answer customer questions

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 0-1 year sales experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

  • Curiosity and a desire to build relationships across teams and departments

  • Tech-Savvy with an interest in software solutions and a quick ability to learn new products

  • Demonstrated ability as a self starter

  • Sales training and cold/warm calling experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrates initiative and self- motivation with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Able to travel up to 10% - domestically; valid driver's license

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Preferred: One year Sales experience preferred

  • Preferred: Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce.com
