Position Overview

Temporary Instructional Designer (Contract)
The opportunity to contribute to high‑impact learning initiatives during a critical development period
Exposure to BPM’s learning standards, templates, and design practices
Collaboration with an experienced Learning & Development team

Design and develop engaging, interactive digital learning modules using Articulate Rise
Translate subject matter expert input, presentations, and documents into clear, effective learning experiences
Apply instructional design best practices to ensure content is learner‑centered, accessible, and outcome‑driven
Partner with internal stakeholders and SMEs to clarify content and ensure accuracy. Proactively manage stakeholder communication, timelines, and feedback to ensure efficient project delivery
Rapidly develop learning content while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail
Follow established templates, branding guidelines, and development standards
Conduct basic quality assurance and make revisions based on stakeholder feedback
Support additional learning development efforts as assigned during the contract period
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proven experience in instructional design with a strong portfolio of Articulate Rise projects
Proficiency in Articulate 360, with emphasis on Rise
Ability to transform raw or loosely structured content into polished learning experiences
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and efficiently incorporating feedback
Working knowledge of adult learning principles and digital learning best practices
Familiarity with SCORM packaging
Experience in professional services, accounting, or technical learning environments
Experience working within established design systems or instructional templates
Experience designing interactive, engaging learning experiences (e.g., scenarios, knowledge checks, applied practice), not just content translation
Experience in AI video generation
Experience in leveraging emerging technologies (e.g., AI tools, video, or automation) to enhance learning experiences
BPM – Learning & Development | June–September
The Temporary Instructional Designer supports the Learning & Development team during a high‑volume content development period. This individual is responsible for designing and developing high‑quality, learner‑centered digital learning experiences, with a strong focus on Articulate Rise development. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate content into engaging and effective learning solutions.
