The Role

Are you passionate about crafting learning experiences that leave a lasting impact? We’re on the hunt for a visionary Instructional Designer to build our product training program from the ground up! In this pivotal role, you’ll have the creative freedom to design and deliver cutting-edge learning solutions that empower our employees and clients’ teams in the world of robotics supply chain automation. 

 

With your expertise in instructional design and problem-solving, you’ll develop innovative, accessible, and results-driven programs tailored to diverse audiences and learning styles. Who you are

  • Program Development Expertise: Demonstrated experience in designing and managing comprehensive training programs from inception to execution. Ability to align learning initiatives with organizational/client goals and continuously evolve programs to meet changing business needs
  • Content Development Mastery: Proven ability to create captivating and impactful training materials tailored to diverse learning styles and audiences. Expertise in crafting clear, concise, and persuasive content that drives engagement and aligns with organizational objectives
  • Training Delivery Excellence: A track record of facilitating dynamic, hands-on training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Strong communication skills to demystify complex concepts and inspire confidence in trainees while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, project management software and content development software (SCORM, xAPI, etc.). Skilled in leveraging technology to enhance training delivery, monitor progress, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Exceptional analytical abilities to evaluate training effectiveness, collect meaningful feedback, and use data-driven insights to optimize learning outcomes. Experienced in leveraging analytics tools to ensure continuous program improvement
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into accessible language. Adept at building strong interpersonal relationships and fostering open dialogue in training environments 
  • Collaborative Leadership: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders. Skilled at cultivating a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within training programs 
  • Customer-Focused Mindset: Passionate about empowering individuals and teams through high-quality learning experiences. Committed to providing training solutions that enable participants to excel in their roles and contribute to organizational success
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications in instructional design, training, or learning program development are highly desirable
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) Expertise: Hands-on experience with LMS platforms, including delivering and managing training programs. Ideally, experience with platform selection, implementation, and integration into broader organizational system

  • Drive Results with Data: Use analytics tools and learner feedback to measure, refine, and optimize training outcomes
  • Bring Learning to Life: Facilitate a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learning platforms/ techniques that connect learners directly to our cutting-edge products and processes
  • Empower Growth: Assess trainees’ skills against objectives post-training, driving performance and skill mastery
  • Orchestrate Seamless Schedules: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate training programs, ensuring smooth delivery
  • Document and Track Success: Maintain accurate training records and continually update them for transparency and growth tracking
  • Stay Ahead of Innovation: Stay current with the latest product developments and build/test processes to deliver the most relevant training experiences
  • Be a Learning Ambassador: Occasionally travel to client sites to deliver impactful training programs, ensuring our expertise reaches every corner. Must be able to travel in Canada, US and Internationally
