We are seeking someone to join our Stability and Resiliency Team as a Java Full-Stack Developer in MS at Work Tech to build and maintain the corporate client platform on wealth management suite of applications for ESOPs. The applicant will be hands-on with upgrades and hygiene changes over the applications. They will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and contribute to the team’s success. The candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Drive software design, architecture, and development at a detailed level:

    • Investigate an active problem and build proactive solutions to help bring long term stability to core system components

    • Plan, assign and track work within development team

    • Review code and establish rules and guidelines to help developers

  • Face off directly with business and operations staff, as well as partners within IT

    • Review and participate in the specification of business and technical requirements

    • Review test plans and work with partners in QA and UAT to ensure testing is proceeding correctly

    • Provide good time/effort, often from less-than-perfectly-specified requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3-5 years of expertise in Java EE design and programming, solid understanding of multi-tiered web-based applications, and building enterprise level applications using Java

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or in a related field

  • Strong Knowledge and hands on experience on Core Java and knowledge on libraries like Guava, Lombok, SLF4J logging etc. and Java Unit Testing/Integration Testing libraries (Mockito, JUnit, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of RDBMS databases, JDBC, and database access technologies (Oracle 11g/19c preferred but not required), App/Webservers (like, Weblogic (JRebel), Apache/Tomcat, etc.), and Java

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (ReactJS, Angular 5 and above etc.)

  • Working knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, Ignite and Artemis

  • Experience with standard set of Java developments tools including IDEs (IntelliJ), build frameworks (Jenkins CI/CD), source code control (GIT/Stash), etc

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group

  • Knowledge of Financial market/ESOPS (Employee Stock Options Services) domain, lending based products and Wealth Management (nice to have)
