Job Description
CIMA+ is experiencing significant growth across our Western Canada offices, offering new and exciting complex projects that you will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to. We are actively seeking individuals who are eager to develop their skills, take on new challenges, and advance their careers within our organization.
Join our dynamic team as an Intermediate Land Development Engineer within our Infrastructure sector. You will work on diverse land development projects across the Alberta region and Canada, benefiting from a robust mentorship network to support your professional growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assistant project management duties with the opportunity to grow into a project manager role
- Complete conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design tasks for land development infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical specifications, memoranda and permit approval applications
- Participate in site inspections
- Perform contract administration tasks
- Liaise directly with clients, government, and regulatory authorities to address specific project needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Licenced professional member or eligible for such a membership with APEGA
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the land development infrastructure field. More than 2 years of demonstrated relevant experience will be considered an asset.
- Past experience working as a site inspector during construction for infrastructure projects will be considered and asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
The expected salary for this position is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
