Are you passionate about creating developer-focused documentation that makes complex technology simple? Join us as an Intermediate/Senior Technical Writer and take the lead in reimagining content for Coverity, our cutting-edge static analysis security testing tool. This is your chance to influence documentation strategy, improve user experience, and collaborate with world-class engineers to deliver content that matter.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the documentation lifecycle for Coverity—from planning and writing to publishing and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX teams to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable content.
- Drive best practices for DITA-based documentation and contribute to content architecture and strategy.
- Advocate for the user experience, ensuring documentation is intuitive, accurate, and customer-focused.
- Lead and mentor other writers, guiding small team initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- 4+ years as a technical writer.
- Experience with at least one programming language
- Comfortable in the command-line or (even better) familiar with Bash scripting
- Familiarity with source control with Git and GitLab (or something similar)

- Familiarity with application security software
- Experience with API documentation, including the ability to test API examples with tools like Postman, cURL, or something similar.
- Experience with other developer-facing documentation, like SDKs and command-line tools
- Docs-as-code workflows and tools (Git for SCM, reviewing changes through GitHub pull requests or something similar, and OAS3 specs).
- Experience working with DITA. For example, creating ditamaps, tasks, concepts, and reference topics from scratch; using keys; using a ditaval for conditional processing
