About d1g1t

d1g1t is the industry’s first enterprise wealth management platform powered by institutional-grade analytics and risk management tools that allows firms to elevate the quality of their advice and demonstrate its value to clients. Through a single integrated solution that covers the entire advisory lifecycle, d1g1t provides wealth management firms with a whole new set of capabilities they’ve never had before. Headquartered in Toronto, the company was founded and is led by an experienced financial technology team who have developed leading enterprise portfolio systems for many of the world’s banks, institutional asset managers, hedge funds and regulators.

d1g1t's leadership is being recognized across the industry. We are proud to be ranked among Canada’s Top Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail and have been selected by RBC Wealth Management to enhance their technology infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work with our cutting-edge, institutional-grade platform as we scale, offering a hands-on role in shaping the next generation of wealth management technology.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist to take primary ownership of our internal IT environment in a growing fintech company. This is a practical, execution-focused role centered on day-to-day support, device and access management, and maintaining the reliability of our internal systems. You will work directly with staff both onsite and remotely, handling physical devices, responding to real-time support needs, and operating with a high degree of ownership in an environment that is still evolving. While there are opportunities to improve processes and mature IT operations over time in collaboration with security and engineering leadership, this role is firmly execution-first and best suited to someone who enjoys being close to the work and building structure in a fast-moving, small-company setting.

End-User & Endpoint Support

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for internal staff (onsite and remote)
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS laptops, peripherals, networking, and SaaS applications
  • Support executives and non-technical users with clear, patient communication

Asset & Device Management

  • Manage the full laptop lifecycle: procurement, setup, deployment, refresh, and secure decommissioning
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records
  • Ensure endpoints are patched, encrypted, and compliant with internal policies

Access Management & Onboarding

  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, access assignment, and timely deprovisioning
  • Work with identity and access systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SSO/MFA tools)
  • Partner with security leadership to improve automation and consistency in access management

IT Operations Ownership

  • Be the primary owner of internal IT operations in a small, cloud-first environment
  • Help formalize and improve foundational IT processes (onboarding checklists, documentation, inventory hygiene)
  • Support a small but growing virtual desktop (VDI) environment
  • Work through ambiguity and incomplete documentation, helping build structure over time

What you will bring

  • 3–8+ years of hands-on IT support experience in SMB or mixed environments
  • Strong experience with end-user support, device management, and troubleshooting
  • Comfort working onsite and directly with staff (this is a hybrid role)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration
  • Familiarity with endpoint security concepts (patching, encryption, EDR/AV)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MDM/identity tools (e.g., Intune, JumpCloud, Okta, Azure AD)
  • Exposure to VDI environments (Citrix, RDP, cloud desktops)
  • Experience supporting hybrid or distributed teams
  • Interest in improving IT operations, not just resolving tickets

Perks of working at d1g1t

  • Excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing Fintech startup
  • Working in a culture of collaboration and innovation where your voice is valued and given importance.
  • Competitive compensation package with bonus and comprehensive healthcare benefits
  • Employee and Family Assistance Program
  • Fitness and Wellness Credit
  • Continuing Education Allowance
  • Flexible hours and hybrid-work policy
