What the role looks like:

Reporting to our Finance Manager, you’ll be deeply immersed in the world of accounting and financial reporting at Lumerate. Through a variety of assigned responsibilities, you will be exposed to the inner workings of the entire business. You will see and work within various business sub-segments like revenue generation, payment processing, cash management, expense tracking and accounts receivable. 


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Take the lead on managing and maintaining our Finance Billing system to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle the end-to-end creation and distribution of invoices with high precision.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, resolving billing issues with a professional touch.
  • Drive collections and credit control while processing customer payments.
  • Perform rigorous reconciliations and manage the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure everything balances perfectly.

Location: If the successful candidate is based in the Greater Toronto Area, she/he/they can choose to participate in our hybrid experience, by working from home 2 days/week, while enjoying the benefits of in-person interactions at our Toronto office 3 days/week. 

If our successful candidate is based elsewhere in Canada, he/she/they will work remotely 100% of the time. 


Salary: CAD $60,000 / year
