We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Athens.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Daily accounts reconciliation, including analyzing account data and generating financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of local & other group statutory reports
- Assist in the preparation of VAT & Tax reports
- Review and monitoring of invoices and preparation of payment instructions
- Bank reconciliations
- Perform other general accounting & bookkeeping duties
- Implement accounting records of day-to-day transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc.)
Candidate profile
- University graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Very good knowledge of English language
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- 0-2 years of working experience
