The Team - 👉 The Business Reporting team provides timely, accurate and reliable management information, analytics and insights that enable informed decision-making and help drive value through data.
What you can expect in this role
- You’ll play a key role in leading and shaping our Business Intelligence tooling, ensuring robust governance, best practice and technical excellence across platforms including Power BI, QlikView and Business Objects.
- You’ll work closely with Business Reporting, Data Engineering and business stakeholders, helping to deliver effective reporting solutions, drive self-service analytics and support data-driven decision-making.
- You’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of our BI capability, focusing on technical standards, data quality, stakeholder engagement, innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
- You’ll have opportunities to influence strategic data initiatives, lead technical delivery, share expertise and stay at the forefront of developments within the BI and analytics landscape.
- You’ll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, while also mentoring colleagues and helping to build a culture of learning, knowledge sharing and success.
What you might bring
- Experience in Business Intelligence, reporting or data warehousing environments, with strong knowledge of BI solution architecture, Power BI and modern reporting best practices.
- Skills in Power BI, SQL, DAX and other BI tools such as Business Objects, QlikView or SSRS, with a willingness to continuously learn, develop expertise and share knowledge with others.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, train end users and build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
- An organised, analytical and thoughtful way of working, with the ability to manage priorities, work to deadlines and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports and data solutions.
- A passion for data and storytelling, with a commitment to delivering valuable insights, driving continuous improvement and achieving great outcomes for customers and colleagues.
- A naturally inquisitive and data-driven mindset, with the adaptability, resourcefulness and accountability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent industry experience in Business Intelligence, data, analytics or a related field.
