We're looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join Navan, Inc.'s global Data team. You'll work with stakeholders from across the business, including finance, commerce, engineering, sales, and operations, to define data needs and products that drive the company forward. We need someone with exceptional data skills and a business mindset who can manage multiple moving pieces and deliver value to customers. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead cross-functional collaborations with Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to deliver data-driven solutions and strategic insights.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring high-quality reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with financial stakeholders to build and refine financial models for strategic planning.
  • Oversee the creation of operational and financial reports, presenting insights to senior management.
  • Drive self-service analytics by developing training programs for BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Consolidate data across units and acquisitions, ensuring consistency in definitions and reporting standards.
  • Lead process improvements for reporting and analytics efficiency, optimizing tools and methodologies.
  • Support ad-hoc requests, focusing on financial reconciliations and complex reporting needs.
  • Provide actionable insights on financial performance to guide key business decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years in Data Analysis, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with process automation and driving efficiency across data operations.

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
