We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.

What you will do:

- Integrate and configure CDPs (Segment Twilio, Amperity, Tealium AudienceStream) and align data collection strategies with business goals.

- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, product, and engineering teams to define tracking requirements and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

- Draft business requirements documents (BRDs), solution design references (SDRs), and technical implementation guides for tagging and data capture.

- Develop and maintain data layers to ensure structured and scalable event tracking.

- Perform QA and troubleshoot tagging issues, ensuring data accuracy through debugging tools like Chrome DevTools, Adobe Debugger, and network request monitoring.

- Ensure privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA) in data collection and align tracking with first-party data strategies and server-side tagging.

- Collaborate on CDP audience segmentation and activation and enhance attribution capabilities across digital channels.

What you will bring:

- Front-end developer with proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS with an emphasis on event-based tracking and tag implementation.

- Ability to draft BRDs, SDRs, and technical documentation for data tracking implementations.

- Strong understanding of cross-domain tracking, UTM parameters, first-party cookies, and server-side tagging.

- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data collection and marketing strategies.

- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills using tools like Chrome DevTools, Adobe Debugger, and Tag Assistant.

Nice to have:

- Hands-on experience with Tag Management Solutions (TMS) like Google Tag Manager (GTM), Adobe Launch, and Tealium iQ.

- Experience working with 3rd party event tracking, such as Web Analytics (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics / GA4) and Paid Media (e.g. Google AdWords, Meta Pixels, and DMPs (LiveRamp).

- Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Segment Twilio, Adobe Launch, Amperity, and Tealium AudienceStream.

In Calgary, job seekers can find a wide range of opportunities.
