OVERVIEW:

Our Individual Products division is a fast paced and dynamic part of Alberta Blue Cross focused on providing industry leading personal benefits and travel insurance for Albertans. Through the professional engagement of our team members, we seek to provide the right solution and best possible experience for every client we speak with.

The lead generation specialist is responsible for identifying new business leads through various channels for our personal benefit consultants. You will leverage a prospect list generated by marketing to engage clients, primarily by phone, but also through your own research, email campaigns, social media and other. The position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Analytical skills will also be important as you digest market and marketing data. This role will requiring you to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

The position is work from home but may require occasional travel to our corporate office in Edmonton.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events.

  • Leverage marketing generated list to contact and qualify leads through phone calls, emails and other communication methods.

  • Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects for future reference.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies.

  • Analyze and report on lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices for lead generation.

  • Provide an exceptional experience through every client engagement.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.

  • Participate in specified training and internal activities.

  • Successfully achieve or exceed monthly lead targets.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field such as marketing or business administration considered an asset.

  • Experience in sales and lead generation.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and oversight.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in using lead generation tools and CRM software.

  • Experience in developing and implementing lead generation strategies.

  • Ability to analyze data and make data driven decisions.
