Job Description:  

As a Lead AI Engineer at Zeta Global, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing scalable machine learning systems that support next-generation AI capabilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage the latest generative AI models and APIs, deep learning frameworks, and software engineering best practices to build robust solutions for text and image generation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Use Python and industry-standard ML tools to design, build, and deploy machine learning models efficiently and at scale, with a focus on deep learning and advanced frameworks like PyTorch and libraries for generative AI (e.g., LangChain). 
  • Apply strong software engineering fundamentals, including best practices for code quality, modular design, version control, and testing, to create scalable, maintainable solutions in production environments. 
  • Partner with data scientists, researchers, engineers, and product teams to integrate advanced ML capabilities seamlessly into products, driving innovation and enhancing user experience. 
  • Continuously track and refine model performance in production, implementing improvements to align with evolving business needs. 
  • Engage with the latest advancements in ML, generative AI, and software engineering, proactively applying relevant insights to ongoing projects. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or a related field (Master’s is a plus) OR 5+ years of proven experience as ML Engineer in a professional setting. 
  • Proven software engineering experience, including an in-depth understanding of principles for developing large-scale systems and best practices for software development. 
  • Experience with containerization: Docker & Kubernetes. 
  • Experience with AWS cloud services like EKS, ECS, EMR, Lambda, and others. 
  • Extensive experience with Python and Python-based ML tools and frameworks, including expertise in deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and familiarity with generative AI APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic. 
  • Strong understanding of data manipulation and transformation techniques, including SQL, Pandas, or Spark. 
  • Proven experience in applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques to real-world problems. 
  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to bring complex ML-based features to production. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Experience in personalization, ad-tech, or mar-tech is a plus.

COMPENSATION RANGE 

The compensation range for this role is $190,000.00 - $210,000.00, depending on location and experience.
