Our client is an enterprise financial software company expanding its mobile product. Its engineering team is creating a mobile experience for complex business workflows.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Own the mobile platform as Lead Mobile Engineer. You will take a beta application into production, make architecture decisions, and help build a mobile engineering team over time.
What you'll do
- Build and release iOS and Android capabilities using React Native and Expo.
- Own architecture, performance, API integration, and user-experience patterns.
- Turn designs into polished components and a reusable mobile design system.
- Manage Expo/EAS releases, provisioning, and store submissions.
- Work directly with engineering leadership, designers, and customers.
- Prepare the mobile platform for future AI capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and help establish the future mobile team.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5 to 10 years of mobile or relevant frontend engineering experience.
- Experience building a mobile application from scratch and owning release to app stores.
- Strong React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and EAS skills.
- Ability to design systems and algorithms independently.
- Technical leadership or mentoring experience with at least one or two engineers.
- Database experience, including PostgreSQL, and sound product design judgment.
Bonus points
- Fintech, neobank, platform, or enterprise product experience.
- Experience developing polished, high-performance mobile apps.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 120,000 to 180,000 per year.
- Equity: USD 40,000 to 60,000 in equity; the source does not specify a vesting or annualization period.
