As the most trusted global leader in data-first contract lifecycle management (CLM) software, Agiloft helps organizations manage the end-to-end process of proposing, negotiating, signing, and leveraging contracts using our flexible Data-first Agreement Platform (DAP). With contract data as the foundation, customers quickly and collaboratively reach agreement and leverage contract visibility to thrive with competitive advantage. Employing powerful, pragmatic artificial intelligence as a legal force multiplier, and robust integration capabilities as a data liberator, organizations around the world trust Agiloft’s certified implementers to deliver connected, intelligent, and autonomous solutions across the entire contract lifecycle.

Top analysts like Gartner, Forrester, and IDC agree, all showing Agiloft as a leader in the CLM space. Our no code platform is easily managed and administered by business users, which is why Agiloft is the contract you keep: nearly a full 100% of new customers are satisfied with their initial implementations, and some 97% of customers renew every year. Ours is a growing, vibrant, successful company that is at the forefront of a market that is becoming a must-have for all organizations.

We believe that the way to build the strongest, most vibrant place to work is to bring in individuals from all walks of life, and to support them in bringing their authentic selves to their day, every day. Our working philosophy is that “EX = CX”: when employee experience is excellent, so is customer experience. We support multiple Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and offer a working environment that supports healthy work/life balance, including floating holidays and a quarterly, no-questions-asked wellness day.

Position Overview

Agiloft, an AI-powered Contract Lifecycle Management Platform and Gartner Magic Quadrant leader, is looking for an experienced lawyer or legal professional with a background in commercial practice and hands-on experience implementing or leveraging artificial intelligence.

At Agiloft, we are driven to build products that deliver maximum value and return on investment for our customers. Our customers use AI to speed up the import of legacy contract data into their Agiloft instance, streamline third-party paper negotiations, and flag departures from their organization’s accepted contractual language.

We are looking for an individual with significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, along with practical experience applying artificial intelligence in a legal or contract-focused context, to support the evolution of Agiloft’s AI capabilities. This role will include developing a deep understanding of our customers’ AI use cases, contributing to the design and refinement of AI-driven workflows and agentic solutions, and conducting structured evaluation and validation to ensure high-quality, reliable outputs. Your work will directly shape the value our customers derive from Agiloft’s products.

  • Design and refine prompts and related inputs to enable extraction of complex concepts across a range of agreement types.
  • Optimize AI performance across use cases through prompt/context engineering and iterative refinement.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of pretrained AI models for contract analysis and related use cases.
  • Conduct structured evaluation and validation of AI outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Collect and curate high-quality document datasets for AI training and evaluation from public and internal sources.
  • Ensure product features are designed with legal professionals and real-world use cases in mind.
  • Partner with technical writers to create internal design documentation and external customer-facing materials.

  • Participate in select customer/prospect interactions to inform and validate AI solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert on legal knowledge engineering across the company.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

    • JD from an accredited law school is a plus; admission to and in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. state or Canadian province/territory is an additional plus.
    • Extensive experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
