Meet Upside:

We created Upside to transform brick-and-mortar commerce. Our technology uses the sophistication of online retail—profit measurement, attribution, and incrementality—to provide users with more value on their everyday purchases and brick-and-mortar businesses with new, profitable customers. We’ve helped millions of users earn 2 to 3 times more cashback than any other product, and hundreds of thousands of brick-and-mortar businesses earn measurable profit. Billions of dollars in commerce run through the Upside platform every year, and that value goes directly back to our retailer partners, the consumers they serve, and important sustainability initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

We’re hiring a Lifecycle Campaign Specialist to support our retail go-to-Market (RGTM) efforts. This role will be in charge of executing campaign strategies that activate and convert users around our retail launches, localized campaigns, and partner promotions.

You’ll support ad hoc and planned campaigns across email, push, and in-app with a focus on fast-turn delivery and high-impact messaging.

  • Implement lifecycle campaigns for merchant launches, promotions, and regional initiatives that boost consumer engagement through email, push notifications, in-app placements, and SMS

  • Plan and manage campaign builds and QA processes across all core lifecycle channels: email, push, SMS, and in-app surfaces

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and RGTM collaborators to build content briefs, campaign timelines, and launch strategies

  • Report on campaign performance, with recommendations for optimization

  • Assist in outlining standard methodologies and identifying repeatable campaign templates

Competencies You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of experience in CRM/lifecycle marketing or campaign execution, ideally in a consumer-facing business

  • Experience working in CRM tools and with creative/technical stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns

  • Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Experience in user behavior and campaign performance optimization

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Data-first decision maker with a test-and-learn attitude. Outstanding analytical and critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to interpret data into practical insights and achieve business results.

  • A collaborative approach with a proven ability to build strong, impactful partnerships across diverse teams.

Tools We Use:

  • Iterable

  • Email on Acid

  • Jira

  • Snowflake

  • Segment

  • Neustar/TransUnion Data Clean Rooms
