The Manager, Digital Content will be an integral part of the Corporate Marketing function. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content to support the overall marketing strategy of the organization. This role requires a combination of written and visual creative, team management and analytical skills to develop compelling and effective content that engages the target audience and drives business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads a skilled group of external content resources and internal team responsible for creating and publishing content against the digital marketing plan, in partnership with the VP, Marketing Services and Manager, Marketing Services;
  • Ensure the development of the overall content strategy aligned with business objectives and target audience;
  • In alignment with departmental leadership, develop high-quality, engaging, and relevant digital content for various channels, including blog posts, articles, web copy, case studies, emails, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation;
  • Research industry trends and competitor content to identify opportunities and ensure the organization's content remains competitive and innovative;
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the organization's digital properties;
  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Execute distribution strategies to ensure content reaches the target audience through various channels, including social media, email, partnerships, and other relevant platforms;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns around key pieces of content;
  • Ensure digital content follows Viral Nation brand messaging and tone of voice across all content pieces to maintain a cohesive brand identity;
  • Partner with departmental leadership to develop and maintain a digital content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry events;
  • Coordinate with various teams across the business to ensure timely delivery of content;
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to improve future content strategies;
  • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • A passion for social media, creators and the overall marketing industry
  • Have knowledge of AI that enables content marketers to scale quickly, accurately and efficiently. 
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing/advertising, web content development /management, digital KPIs /analytics, creative asset creation in agency or client environment.
  • Experience in multi-channel content strategy at scale.  
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing a team and bringing on external resources as required.
  • Self-starter, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional work ethic, organization, and ability to manage numerous priorities
