The salary range for this role is $85,760.00 to $107,200.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

As Key Account Manager for the Prairies, you will lead several of our most important retail Key Accounts across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan. This role is responsible for delivering against revenue, profit, and market share targets while ensuring best-in-class in-store execution and brand presence.
You will partner closely with execution teams and cross-functional stakeholders to bring commercial strategies to life, optimize account performance, and drive sustainable business growth. This is a highly visible role with direct influence on regional performance and customer strategy.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute customer commercial plans aligned to regional and national priorities.
- Deliver against sales, share, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Conduct account and market analysis (SWOT, competitive, financial) to identify growth opportunities.
- Own core account fundamentals including distribution, shelf, pricing, promotion, and display execution.
- Leverage consumer, shopper, and market insights to shape customer strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally on promotional planning, post-analysis, and inventory forecasting.
- Drive performance through clear objectives, tracking, and corrective action where needed.
- Lead customer negotiations while balancing customer needs with Pernod Ricard commercial objectives.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to influence outcomes and accelerate growth.
- Manage trade investments, pricing, and contracts to ensure strong ROI and sustainable profitability.
- Translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations and actions.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of related sales experience, ideally managing retail Key Accounts in beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods.
- University degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or relevant experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies, set objectives, and drive sales results.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets, forecast sales, and optimize ROI.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a matrix structure.
- Willingness to travel (3–4 nights per quarter) and work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, Company vehicle or car allowance bridge provided
