Your Opportunity

Our National Office in Toronto is looking for a Manager, Learning & Development, to join the Learning and Development team. The incumbent will partner with key stakeholders to support the delivery on the strategic development and implementation of core capability learning programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards, and will own the following responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a key partner to Learning Advisors and business stakeholders who represent various service lines to ensure learning solutions are informed by current talent and capability needs.
  • Lead the successful delivery of learning programs by managing end-to-end execution which includes overseeing timelines, priorities, and coordination across key people and tasks involved.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive plan aligned with the firm's capability framework and business strategy, emphasizing talent development as a differentiator.
  • Collaborate closely with the Learning Design & Development team as well as Learning Advisors to shape the learning architecture, conduct quality reviews of design output, and ensure learning solutions are cohesive, learner-centric, and aligned to goals.
  • Monitor and assess program performance using feedback and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and ensure continuous program and process refinement.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and career guidance to the L&D team at large, fostering a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and innovation.

Please note this is a 10 month contract

Your experience and education

  • You have 10+ years of experience in learning consulting and learning program delivery. Experience within Professional Services Firm in a Consulting industry is preferred but not required.
  • You have proven track record in program management to lead multi-disciplinary efforts across design, business, and delivery teams.
  • You have strong project management experience to manage complex learning projects or programs, from planning through execution, including timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and issue tracking.
  • You have 8+ years of practical experience in instructional design processes.
  • You have practical experience in designing and implementing measurement strategies for programs of various level of complexity and scope.
  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills—able to work collaboratively across business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and creative teams.
  • You are highly collaborative, detail-oriented and organized; able to manage competing priorities and keep complex initiatives moving forward.
  • You have an excellent ability to build relationships and maintain trust with executive level stakeholders.
  • You have a strategic mindset, strong critical thinking and sense-making skills to drive improvement in processes and to continuously develop our learning practices towards a mature state.
  • You are focused on providing an exceptional client experience.
  • You have a learning mindset.
  • CTDP designation is preferred.
