Reporting to the Director, Operations Systems, we are looking for a Manager, Operations Systems Data Management to join our Grid Reliability team. As the Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of critical operational data and real-time systems that support secure grid operations. You will lead a team responsible for managing power system and market models, Energy Management System (EMS) application interfaces, and SCADA integrations, while driving continuous improvement to meet evolving market and system needs.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and develop a high performing team managing secure SCADA and PMU data connections and EMS models that support real-time grid and market operations.
Oversee real-time data historization including PI tag management and critical data storage.
Drive strategic initiatives supporting grid reliability, including REM rule changes and MMS related modelling updates.
Ensure compliance with ARS, CIP, ISO Rules, and other operational standards.
Collaborate across teams to deliver EMS model updates for new connections, maintenance work, RAS changes, and market product updates.
Serve as Data Steward for EMS data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
Optimize EMS user interfaces for control center operations.
Lead continuous improvement of documentation, processes, and tools.
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture through coaching, development, and strong organizational relationships.
What you’ll bring to us:
Post-secondary diploma or degree; degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
P.Eng designation with APEGA is considered an asset.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the power system industry, ideally in an ISO/RTO environment.
Deep understanding of grid operations, data modelling, and SCADA systems.
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, with a track record of guiding cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Commitment to coaching and developing teams through change, evolving technologies, and regulatory requirements.
